Andie Chiasson is the owner of 409 Fitness Studio in downtown Thibodaux where she shares her passion of teaching yoga. She brings a spirit of community and confidence to each class she teaches. Her students feel a personal connection with her and their yoga practice after just a few classes. She fosters a sense of fun and empowerment using motivating sequences designed to raise your vibration. Andie’s sense of humor comes shining through in her eclectic, innovative and creative teaching style combining traditional yoga philosophy with modern yoga culture.
Andie received a 200 Hr yoga teaching certificate from Wild Lotus Yoga in New Orleans, La. and is currently pursuing a 300 Hr yoga teacher training with Mitchel Bleier of The Yoga Teacher’s Lab.
She holds both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Nicholls State University.
Andie is married to Andrew Kearney and together they have Lincoln, an active and adorable three year-old who loves animals, dinosaurs and doing yoga with mom and dad.
Sarah Zimmer received her certificate in Yoga in 2016 from Wild Lotus, taught by Sean Johnson and Mitchel Bleier. She has also studied under Desi Springer and John Friend at the Vital-Institute in Colorado, having training in the Bowspring Method. She is currently working towards her 300 hr RYT training with Mitchel Bleier.
Sarah’s fun loving and easy going personality shines through each time she teaches. It’s easy to let go and feel connected when she teaches, because she will have you laughing and enjoying the poses in new ways. She strives to bring a sense of humor and challenge to each class and person she meets, leaving them feeling welcomed and wanting to come back for more. Her goal is to build a sense of community for the town of Thibodaux, Louisiana and create a space that feels like an escape.
Sarah has been married for 13 years to her husband Trent, and they have three amazing children; Abigail, Blaine and Finley. The kids participate in jiu jitsu and art classes in the community and are truly wonderful tiny humans.
