Meet Alyssa Allen, Lead Trainer

With her free spirit and lion heart, Alyssa is continuously humbled as a student of Yoga. She has recognized her practice as a reflection of her daily life; embracing constant reminders to integrate the breath through it all.

She completed her 200-hour teacher training in the Classical Hatha Yoga style at The San Diego School of Healing Arts and later finished her 300-hour at The House of OM. Over the years she has become an E-RYT and YACEP. She has been a part of the teacher training team for multiple trainings at The Maui Yoga Shala. Her studies include many different styles of yoga, deeming Anusara, a branch of Hatha Yoga, to be her deep passion. This is revealed in her classes as she honors the importance of aligning the body, heart, and mind to absorb a sense of grace through these transformational experiences on the mat.

Alyssa is a mommy and a full-time student working on finishing her degree in Ayurvedic health and integrative wellness at MIU. It is her dharmic path to weave the teachings of yoga and ayurvedic sciences in an accessible manner for her community to thrive in optimal mental and physical health as well as positive abundance! Dhanyavad!
