An In-Person Learning Experience

When you are ready to begin your teacher training, we welcome you on this journey, where we teach our 200-hour program in person. Through a multidisciplinary approach that focuses on Vinyasa and Bhakti yoga, you will complete seven modules of content over seven weekends.

Meet Julie Snow, Lead Trainer


I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I discovered yoga while working in the corporate world. Ten years into my job, I was burnt out, and looking for something more meaningful. I started practicing at a yoga studio near work, and it didn’t take long for me to realize my purpose was to become a yoga teacher to help others.

I completed my 200ryt teacher training in 2010, and didn’t stop there. I am certified in Prenatal, Aerial, Yin and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. I love teaching yoga and learning more and more genres. I am so excited that my journey has brought me to Slidell and led me to Kellie at Blue Arrow Yoga.

Though I certainly expected to make some lifelong friends during my first ever 200-hour YTT, I was not expecting one of those lifelong friends to be my teacher necessarily! Michelle holds space in a non-judgmental way, opening her heart to each and every unique individual. Not only does she have a deep knowledge of yogic philosophy and practice, but she is also an adept teacher. Ellen’s teaching style is eclectic, authentic, open, inviting, and responsive to the needs of her students.  Her Friday noon classes have been my favorite for years because they are the most playful and intuitive, holding space for students to experiment with poses that could otherwise intimidate newcomers.  Ellen’s recent introduction of intuitive meditation techniques have made my practice more intentional and joyful, on and off the mat.

I've been taking Molly's classes since 2017 and I still remember the first time. When I say life-changing, I mean it. She is a whole vibe; she is a one of a kind human. It's kind of hard to explain, but once you meet her you will understand! I have been thinking about doing teacher training for years now and the few times I considered it, it just didn't feel right or didn't work out for some reason. Now, this YTT with Molly, I will NOT pass up and the timing is just perfect. I feel like it's just meant to be. That's kind of how you feel in Molly's classes - like you're meant to be; like you're on the right path. She is an amazing teacher and friend and I can't wait to learn even more from her.

Andie shows up in her authentic truth as a mentor. She makes herself available as a resource. She holds a beautiful balance as an educator, lifelong learner, and space holder. Although she provided much needed guidance and insight into the material, I was never afraid that I was “wrong” but felt I was just ‘here’ on my journey, and she did a great job of holding space for everyone’s ‘here’ without judgment. Prior to the training, I would describe myself as spiritually uncertain. I had remaining confusion from the spirituality of my upbringing, and I was seeking somewhat of a cleanse and a new beginning. The training equipped me with a spiritual toolbox with which to proceed. I can still use the tools that I learned during the training to assess and reset no matter what the circumstance. The relationship to the content is much more fluid than I had imagined it would be.

This teacher training guided me to refine my identity. I had grown content inside my self-defined comfort zone and never thought to push the boundaries. I was hesitant to give myself credit for those qualities that I had to offer and through the training I found my confidence to appreciate my gifts not only as a wife and mother, but as an individual. I was a huge control freak and held the reins so tight it limited me. I have given myself permission to let go and know that while I may always be a recovering perfectionist, bumps in the road are a part of the learning process. The tools I learned have become a lifestyle instead of just a weekly practice. My favorite part of the training was when the Instructors pushed me past any boundaries I had set for myself. Having to be vulnerable and show parts of myself that I kept hidden was a huge breakthrough in this process. I was able to enjoy the success of others and see them blossom.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a beginner, can I still take this course?
Absolutely. This course is designed to meet you where you are. It
is a great way to immerse yourself in the yoga practices.

Do I have to teach if I take this course?
You do not. Many people take the course to develop a deeper knowledge of the yoga practices. However, if you wish to receive a certificate, you will have to complete the practicum teaching requirement.

Where can I teach once I receive my certificate?
Because we are a Registered Yoga School, you can teach at any studio, gym or fitness center that may want a Vinyasa Flow or Power Vinyasa teacher.
